FPA Announces Dates for FPA NexGen 2008


June 4, 2008 (SmartPros) The Financial Planning Association is bringing together the next generation of financial planners for FPA NexGen 2008. The communities of interest conference will be held at St. John's University in St. Cloud, Minn. July 25-27.



The conference will feature content-rich sessions aimed at educating, motivating and connecting the up-and-coming generation of planners.

FPA NexGen 2008 will focus on issues facing the financial planning profession and the outlook for its future. Two general sessions highlight the conference, including: "To Think…Like a CFP Professional Circa 2008," presented by Richard B. Wagner, CFP, J.D.; and "Act Like a CFP Professional," presented by Kyra H. Morris, CFP, EA.

In addition to the two general sessions, FPA NexGen 2008 will feature the super session, "To Feel Like a CFP Professional: An Inside Look at Three Firm Models" and myriad educational sessions such as "Long-term Care Insurance Planning," "Life Planning," "Going Independent" and "Technical and Behavioral Decisions in Dealing With Concentrated Stock Positions."
