"This new service is provided as a convenience to our licensees," said Dan Sweetwood, Executive Director of the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy. "CPAs and CPA firms can simply log into the service and within a few short minutes know with certainty that their license renewals have been processed successfully."

The board said the online license-renewal program is the fastest and easiest way for CPAs and CPA firms to complete their renewals. The CPA license renewal period is now underway and runs through May 31.

The license renewal program was built by the Board in partnership with http://www.Nebraska.gov. The service can be accessed directly at http://www.nbpa.ne.gov/.
