The conference, June 4-6, is hosted by XBRL EU and XBRL Germany and will be the organization's biggest gathering of XBRL users, customers and partners in Europe representing members from government, accounting, financial services, publishing, analysts, software, and technology sectors regarding the development and use of XBRL for Global Business Reporting.

The International Public Forum will be presented in English on Monday, June 4, followed by the 3rd German Symposium Public Day on Tuesday, June 5, which will be delivered in German.

During the conference, attendees will learn about the numerous XBRL projects that are currently underway, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's US GAAP taxonomy project.

The conference also includes expert forums focused on developers, external reporting, internal reporting, international adoption, regulators and e-government, taxonomy development, and tutorials.

Presenters will highlight applications and pilots at government agencies, stock exchanges, financial service companies and other institutions around the world. Technology firms will provide hands-on demonstrations of their tools and services available to help companies begin to use XBRL to accelerate their business reporting and financial information integration needs.

The theme of the conference is "Integrating Business Reporting Worldwide: From Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to Large Companies."
