AICPA to Promote Rivet's XBRL Products DENVER, Nov. 17, 2005 The American Institute of CPAs has entered into a marketing agreement to promote Rivet Software's Dragon Tag and Dragon View XBRL solutions to the AICPA's 350,000 members. Under the terms of the agreement, AICPA members will be able to order Dragon Tag and Dragon View via an AICPA-specific email address (aicpa@rivetsoftware.com) and landing page on Rivet's Web site. Members of the AICPA will receive special support options as part of the marketing agreement. Dragon Tag is an add-in to Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel that provides the ability to mark up and create XBRL data within the Microsoft Office environment. Dragon View provides easy viewing solutions for working with XBRL taxonomies and instance documents. XBRL is a royalty-free standard derived from XML for the specific purpose of communicating and publishing business report information. The AICPA is a founding member of the XBRL International consortium. "XBRL fundamentally transforms and improves the way companies, investors, lenders, analysts and regulators exchange, aggregate and analyze business information," said Barry Melancon, President and CEO of the AICPA. "Our members recognize these benefits of XBRL and the need for tools that allow them to leverage the standard quickly and affordably. We believe that Rivet's Dragon Tag and Dragon View products will help expedite the adoption of XBRL among our community."
