Aug. 18, 2005 The joint Uniform Accountancy Act (UAA) committees of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and National Association of State Boards of Accountancy issued an exposure draft that proposes changes to certain UAA provisions.

The revisions aim to enhance the UAA statutory provisions related to mobility, enforcement, and professional standards/ethics. Work to revise the statute began in October 2004.
