Ethics Workshops Kick Off in May April 26, 2005 (SmartPros) Starting in May, the Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics (SCCE) will be holding several workshops across the nation on business conduct and governance and compliance issues. The first one-day session will be held in New York City on May 16. Other locations in May include Cincinnati, OH; Minneapolis, MN; and Chicago, IL. After a summer break, the workshops continue in November and December in Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; Atlanta, GA; and Houston, TX. Topics include an "A to Z" overview to establish an effective compliance program, case studies on recent corporate scandals of board oversight failures, management and accountability tips and discussion, and Sarbanes-Oxley updates.
