Marsh & McLennan Chairman Resigns Post The head of Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. insurance brokerage stepped down Monday in a move seen as clearing the way for settlement of bid-rigging charges brought by New York's attorney general. The resignation of Jeffrey W. Greenberg from the posts of chairman and chief executive was accepted at an emergency board meeting.  In the News Citi's Lord High Executioner Last week Citigroup's CEO announced the departure of three top execs who bore operational responsibility for the regulatory shortcomings that last month got Citi permanently kicked out of the private banking business in Japan. Anti-Fraud Association Reports Booming Membership The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners announced that its membership had grown to a record level, reaching 31,000 members in over 100 countries.
