From a hydroplane champion, to a body builder, to a female CPA with a pet tarantula named Pookie, the All on Account of Fun calendar features twelve members of the non-profit professional association, headquartered in Kenner, Louisiana. It also includes important tax filing dates and other dates pertinent to businesses and the accounting profession.

"The purpose of the calendar is to promote CPAs as dynamic and diverse individuals. We are definitely not the dull, humorless bean counters so many stereotypes and office jokes have made us out to be," explained Tommie Vassel, the body building February CPA, and past chair of the LCPA's Communications and Public Realtions Committee.

"No. 2 pencils aside, in the workplace we're focused on providing trustworthy insights and business advice to our clients and employers," he added. "Outside the office, we're intriguing people with a wide variety of interests and hobbies who love to have a good time."

The CPA calendar also aims to raise funds for the LCPA's Scholarship Foundation that offers scholarships in varying amounts every year to accounting students in Louisiana.
