Sponsored by temporary staffing firm Accountemps, the Balance Awards were given at the American Society of Women Accountants annual conference held recently in San Diego.
Accounting firm Deloitte & Touche was presented The Company of the Year award, honored for its flexible work arrangements, parental leave, adoption assistance and reimbursement, elder care consultations, mortgage assistance, employee assistance, and paid time-off programs.
The Woman of the Year award was presented to Mary Bennet, a partner at Crowe Chizek & Co. LLC in South Bend, Indiana.
