IMA Launches Online CPE Center MONTVALE, N.J., July 26, 2002 The Institute of Management Accountants launched the Lifelong Learning Center, an online resource for accounting and financial continuing education. In the Lifelong Learning Center users can search for thousands of continuing education seminars, courses, and publications. It includes core topics, such as Managerial Accounting and Financial Accounting, as well as Information Technology and Personal Development programs.
"Our members told us that they wanted professional development programs not only in our core skills of Accounting and Finance but also in Information Technology and Personal Development," said Nicholas Dousmanis, IMA Director of Strategy and Development, who originated and developed the Lifelong Learning Center. "We listened to our members and have created the IMA Lifelong Learning Center, a one-stop resource to purchase all your continuing education needs."
While all are welcome to shop at the Lifelong Learning Center, IMA's 65,000 members receive a special discount.
