VSCPA Launches New Web Site

RICHMOND, Virg., May 10, 2002 The Virginia Society of CPAs launched a new Web site earlier this month, VSCPA.com, designed to provide its CPA members and other accounting professionals, educators, students, the media and general public with information that is visually appealing and easy to navigate.

New additions include an online classified section that offers advertising opportunities for self-employment offerings, mergers, acquisitions, sale of businesses, rental of office space and more; a membership directory that allows VSCPA members to search for CPAs and their firms; a CPE tracking tool; "Quick Links" navigation; and Reading List, where visitors may donate to accounting scholarships for students by making a professional literature purchase from Amazon.com through the Reading List at VSCPA.com.

In addition to the new sections, many sections have been redesigned.  These sections include: Consumer/Public, Continuing Professional Education (CPE), Membership, Press Room, Students and The Society.
