FiNetrics Steps Up CPA Recruiting Efforts CHICAGO, Feb. 1, 2001 (SmartPros) Business services provider FiNetrics Inc. has stepped up its efforts to recruit CPAs as a distribution channel for its suite of outsourced accounting and finance products. The company, whose application service provider based on software from high-end vendor SAP has attracted over 100 clients since its launch in August, is aggressively marketing its reseller program, FiNetrics Accounting Institute. CPAs who join the reseller program get a cut of the revenue from the FiNetrics products and services they sell to their clients. The program includes access to training on OutNumber, FiNetrics' Web-based accounting application, marketing content to co-brand FiNetrics' products, and inclusion in a referral network, as well as a free copy of OutNumber for internal use and free access to client accounts. Since its marketplace debut nearly six months ago, FiNetrics has struck a number of alliances with providers such as IBM, Financial Keyosk, eOnline and ICTGroup, as well as one with global business-to-business e-commerce platform provider Ariba to build an online marketplace called PurchaseSource that will operate as a product and service procurement center for small to mid-sized businesses. In December, the firm rolled out a service called AccountingSource Advisor that pairs customers with accounting professionals. The subscription-based consulting service, powered by Big Five firm Arthur Andersen, offers clients online and telephone access to accounting professionals for advice on accounting interpretations, regulations and best practices to support their evolving business needs. -- SmartPros News Staff Send comments to information@smartpros.com |
