Rather than attending a one- or two-day training seminar, QuickBooks customers now have the option of taking a course online.
 
The Getting Started with QuickBooks online e-learning program, which includes all the content delivered in most one-day seminars, costs $79.95 per course, and must be completed within 90 days of enrollment.

The course reviews how to: work more productively with the QuickBooks interface; create a new company database; work with the chart of accounts; add and edit items, customers and invoices; enter sales and invoices; receive payments and make deposits; create checks; and produce basic financial reports.

The  online training course can be purchased at www.intuitmarket.com. Users must have access to a computer running Windows 95/98/NT and have Internet access to complete the exercises.
