Arthur Andersen Takes Tax Compliance Software to Web SARASOTA, Fla., Jan. 23, 2001 (SmartPros) Big Five firm Arthur Andersen is hitting the Web with its online corporate income tax compliance software known as AACTS Online. AACTS Online, which has the same functionality as the client/server product but resides on the Internet, is now available for the tax year 2000, the firm stated. "AACTS Online is designed for companies that don't want to deal with issues such as server maintenance, hardware upgrades, back-ups, installs, rollovers and updates," said Karl K. Grass, the Arthur Andersen partner for AACTS software. "It's also an excellent way for corporate tax departments to gain the flexibility of 24x7x365 remote access from any location." AACTS Online is backed by Exodus, a provider of Internet hosting and managed services, the firm stated.
