BDO International Revenues Climb 14 Percent CHICAGO/BRUSSELS, Jan. 10, 2001 (SmartPros) BDO International, the world's sixth largest accounting and consulting organization, reported that its worldwide revenue for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2000 increased 14 percent to $2.01 billion, up from $1.76 billion last year. While the organization experienced growth in every region, BDO Seidman in the United States topped the charts with a growth rate of 37 percent, the firm stated. Audit/accounting and tax assignments continue to contribute the highest proportion of fee income, at 53 percent and 26 percent of the total. The Americas and Europe make up some 86 percent of the global income, however, performance in Africa, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific region continue to flourish, the firm added. In the past year, BDO International has added 7 new countries to its global network. The firm now serves clients through 552 offices in 95 countries.
