KPMG Names Vice Chair of Human Resources NEW YORK, Jan. 3, 2001 (SmartPros) Big Five firm KPMG has appointed a vice chair of human resources, the firm stated.
Kathy Hopinkah Hannan succeeds Tim Flynn, who was named to lead KPMG's e-business transformation initiatives and who will continue to lead KPMG's global human resources. Hannan, 39, will be responsible for retention, recruitment and workplace initiatives. As vice chair, she will also become a member of the firm's Management Committee. Hannan, a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation Tribe, previously served as managing partner for KPMG's metro-tax practice in Chicago. She began her career at KPMG in 1985 and was admitted to partnership in 1994. She was promoted to Midwest partner-in-charge of international services in 1996.
