PwC HR Consulting Unit Hooks Up With Saba REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Dec. 21, 2000 (SmartPros) Saba, a provider of human capital development and management solutions, and Unifi Network, the human resources consulting division of PricewaterhouseCoopers, have struck a deal under which Unifi will incorporate Saba Learning Enterprise as its infrastructure component for Unifi's learning outsourced service. As part of the deal, Unifi will provide Saba clients with strategic consulting services in HR, learning and change management. In addition to Saba Performance, Unifi and Saba said they will collaborate to jointly create and market new human capital development products. Saba's open, standards-based technology will enable Unifi customers to train, assess, certify and manage human capital on a single system. "Saba Learning Enterprise enables us to outsource human capital development and learning management solutions for our customers on a global enterprise-wide basis," said Reed Keller, leader of Unifi Network. "By allowing businesses to outsource e-learning and e-HR functions, Unifi will help clients capitalize on the value of their human assets," said Bobby Yazdani, Saba founder and chief executive officer. Saba's Global 2000 customers include Anheuser-Busch, Cisco Systems, Ford Motor Company, DaimlerChrysler, and General Electric.
