IRS Offers Daily Tax Tips


WASHINGTON D.C., Dec. 21, 2000 (SmartPros) The Internal Revenue Service will offer a daily series of Tax Tips for the 2001 filing season beginning Jan. 2.



The tips will cover topics from child credits and higher education benefits to Individual Retirement Accounts and Social Security issues.

The IRS will put out more than 70 tips, with a new one each business day until the April 16 tax deadline.

The Tax Tips will be available at the IRS Web site at www.irs.gov under the IRS Newsstand section, or at www.irs.gov/prod/news/nandf.html
