E&Y Names New Senior Managers, Managers


ST. LOUIS, Dec. 19, 2000 (SmartPros) Christmas is the season for giving, especially for Big Five firm Ernst & Young, which recently handed out more than a dozen promotions in its St. Louis office.



"In their new positions these individuals will continue to provide the exemplary service and business insight their clients expect," said Jim Havel, office managing partner.

The firm promoted six employees to the role of senior manager within the Assurance and Advisory Business Services practice. Four people will fill the role of manager within the Assurance and Advisory Business Services and five people were promoted to the tax services manager position, said E&Y.

In addition, R. William Kruse was promoted to the position of tax compliance practice coordinator and Marian L. Gravlin was named the tax technical leader in the Tax Compliance practice.

Ernst & Young has 77,000 people in more than 130 countries.
