Seriously, other than a general intelligence exam, how could you test accountants, lawyers, information systems specialists, marketing researchers, etc. with one exam? I really don't understand what the AICPA leadership is doing. It is obvious they want to jettison accounting and become the organization promoting the business service professions. Funny, I don't see the other professional organizations (such as the ABA) following suit. If it is such a good idea for the professions to blend, why then aren't the lawyers more interested?
