KPMG Taps Carbone to Lead Software and Services Practice


NEW YORK, Dec. 14, 2000 (SmartPros) KPMG has tapped Barbara Carbone to lead its software and services practice, part of the firm's Information, Communications and Entertainment (ICESM) line of business.



As national industry director and partner-in-charge of the software and services practice, Carbone oversees a sector encompassing business and consumer software, including customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, supply chain management, application service providers and Internet applications, KPMG said.

Carbone, who has been with the firm for 20 years, most recently served as the national partner-in-charge of human resources for KPMG's assurance practice, where she was responsible for developing and deploying strategies to address resource needs, as well as for recruiting, training, compensating and retaining the 7,000 professionals within the practice.
