In a move to boost its Wisconsin presence, Clifton Gunderson is merging with Sheboygan, Wis.-based accounting firms of VanDerJagt Williamson and Martin C. Stepzinski. The addition of these two firms brings Clifton Gunderson's eastern Wisconsin presence to 95 members, consultants and staff.

Gunderson's offices serving eastern Wisconsin will become known as its Eastern Wisconsin Client Service Center (CSC), formerly known as the Fox Valley CSC. Gunderson's Eastern Wisconsin CSC will maintain its existing offices in Oshkosh and Green Bay, with new office locations in Sheboygan, Plymouth and Port Washington, bringing the total number of Wisconsin offices to 17, the firm stated.

The Martin C. Stepzinski CPA firm, founded in 1983, provides audit, accounting, tax and general business consulting services, and specializes in serving the healthcare profession. Four professionals and staff from the firm will be joining Clifton Gunderson, with Martin C. Stepzinski, CPA, becoming a member.

The VanDerJagt Williamson firm, founded in 1959, offers tax, accounting, auditing and general business consulting. In total, 21 professionals, consultants and staff from the firm will be joining Gunderson, the firm stated.

Heading south, Clifton Gunderson also announced that it is merging with Amarillo, Texas-based accounting and consulting firm Billy O. Campsey, founded in 1980. The combination brings Clifton Gunderson's Amarillo office up to 32 professionals, consultants and staff.

Billy O. Campsey, CPA, will be joining Clifton Gunderson as a tax consultant. In total, nine professionals, consultants and staff from Billy O. Campsey Inc. will be joining Clifton Gunderson.
