Eisner Expands Consulting Unit


NEW YORK, Dec. 5, 2000 (SmartPros) New York-based Richard A. Eisner & Co., a top 100 firm, has expanded its computer consulting unit, Eisner Information Solutions, and named a new partner-in-charge of the practice.



The firm has tapped Andrew Rudin as partner-in-charge of the technology consulting practice. Rudin, who previously headed up the Information Consulting Services practice at another firm, also brought other associates to join Eisner's existing team, the firm said.

EIS provides emerging and mid-market businesses enterprise management services and products from process analysis and organization restructuring to software implementation.

"Our goal is to help clients navigate successfully through the opportunities and challenges they face as they seek to compete more effectively, improve systems and procedures, and, most importantly, to succeed," said Rudin.

"We are very excited about the opportunities that exist for Eisner and the many benefits that can be provided to our clients with these enhanced service offerings," said managing partner Charles Weinstein. "Strengthening our knowledge and resources is an integral part of staying ahead of the evolving business environment."

Eisner has more than 450 employees, including 70 partners, specializing in areas including financial services, new media, health sciences, not-for-profit, legal support, personal financial planning, corporate finance, and employee/executive compensation and benefits.
