Crowe, Chizek Names Director for Public Sector Services Group Nov. 28, 2000 (SmartPros) Accounting and consulting firm Crowe, Chizek and Company has named a director for its Public Sector Services Group.
In the newly created position, B.J. Bischoff will be responsible for project development and management of the strategic alliances in the firm's State and Local Government unit, the firm stated. Bischoff, who has a bachelor's degree in journalism and theatre, a master's in College Student Personnel Administration and a doctorate in education, is a member of the Central Indiana Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development. She also serves on Indiana University's President Cabinet and is an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she serves as a Governor-appointed member of both the Indiana Human Resource Investment Council and the Indiana Workforce Proficiency Panel. Crowe, Chizek made headlines earlier this month when it announced it has finalized the agreement to acquire PricewaterhouseCooper's Fort Wayne practice, which primarily handled tax and business assurance matters. The acquisition by Crowe, Chizek complements the firm's offices in Indianapolis, South Bend, Merrillville and Elkhart, Ind., as well as in Chicago; Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio; Louisville and Lexington, Ky.; Grand Rapids, Mich.; and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the company stated.
