FiNetrics Teams With Financial Keyosk


CHICAGO, Nov. 28, 2000 (SmartPros) Business services provider FiNetrics Inc. has struck a deal with Financial Keyosk, a Schaumburg, Ill.-based provider of online financial services, to offer FiNetrics' clients online access to Financial Keyosk's commercial insurance products.



As part of the deal, Financial Keyosk, a unit of Zurich Insurance Agency, Inc., will offer its clients FiNetrics' financial applications and services, including online accounting and purchasing, business process outsourcing and contract accounting personnel.

The firms also plan to jointly develop marketing and sales strategies to support each other's private-label programs.

Through Financial Keyosk, FiNetrics' customers will have Internet-based access to commercial insurance information, up to three quotes from insurers, and the ability to apply for coverage and submit claims online to leading carriers.

Financial Keyosk offers insurance products in three categories: commercial, including business owners policy, workers compensation, commercial auto, and umbrella and excess liability coverage; group employee benefits, including health, life, disability, vision, dental, and pension and 401(k) plans; and executive products, including key man life, estate planning, personal auto, and life insurance for executives of FiNetrics' clients. The firm also has an arrangement with Kemper Insurance Cos.

In a bid to expand its services, FiNetrics has also forged alliances with companies including SAP, Microsoft Corp., Arthur Andersen, and Ariba, Inc.
