Arthur Andersen, InterWorld Launch B2B Essentials


NEW YORK, Nov. 9, 2000 (SmartPros) In a move to enhance how manufacturers and distributors do businesses via the Web, Big Five firm Arthur Andersen and InterWorld Corp., a provider of e-commerce software solutions, are teaming up to launch B2B Essentials.



B2B Essentials, an e-business solution designed for mid to large-size manufacturers and distributors, enables users to take advantage of automation, collaboration, and connectivity across the entire sell-chain, said Arthur Andersen. In addition, the firm will help users develop sales strategies, assess the readiness of their system and assess cultural and organizational issues that may affect the adaptability of their business.

InterWorld and Arthur Andersen will provide the software, technology, implementation services and market knowledge, the firm stated. In addition, the two entities will take part in joint direct marketing campaigns, seminars and road shows.
