RSM McGladrey Teams Up With Three Insurance Carriers KANSAS CITY, Mo., Nov. 4, 2000 (SmartPros) H&R Block's accounting, tax and consulting firm, RSM McGladrey, is expanding its wealth management planning program by aligning with three insurance carriers. Under the agreement, life insurance solutions from Jefferson Pilot Financial, Pacific Life Insurance Company and National Life Insurance Company will be offered by insurance professionals partnering with RSM McGladrey's wealth management planning teams, the company said. The recently created wealth management planning program has 11 markets, including Chicago, Minneapolis, Phoenix and West Palm Beach, and plans to place financial planners in most of the firm's 20 geographical operating units by the year's end. All of the planners are expected to be Certified Financial Planners and Investment Advisor Representatives, the company added. They will work with two or three independent insurance professionals in their market who have the ability to write insurance plans with the national carriers participating in the RSM McGladrey alliance.
