KPMG Consulting Takes Recruiting Show on the Road

MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 2, 2000 (SmartPros) KPMG Consulting is taking its college grad recruitment efforts on the road in a 10-stop nationwide tour.

As part of its efforts to lure new talent to the firm, the Big Five consultancy has signed on with career portal Wetfeet.com's "Brave the Wave" tour, a road show that will make stops at 10 college and university campuses, including Cornell, Georgetown, North Carolina State, and Vanderbilt.

In addition to laptops to view demos and recruitment staff, the tour will feature less traditional recruitment event attractions, such as the RoboSurfer, a mechanized surfboard, which allows students to see how long they can balance themselves on "the waves"; a giant game of Twister; and a disc jockey.
