Charles Schwab Launches IRA Distributions Via the Web SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 13, 2000 (SmartPros) Charles Schwab & Co., a provider of financial services and an online broker, has unveiled a new service that enables Schwab clients to make Individual Retirement Account distributions via the Web. By clicking on schwab.com, clients can make IRA distributions of up to $100,000 from five types of accounts, including Traditional, Roth, Roth Conversion, Rollover and Simplified Employee Pension IRAs, the company said. Clients can request recurring or one-time distributions, and funds can be transferred electronically or made available by check. No paper forms need to be filled out and no signatures are required, the company added.
