Joining the Eisner family is Eisner Data Security Systems, a newly developed business unit, and Workgroup Computing Alliance, which joined Eisner as an independent subsidiary to form Workgroup Computing Associates, the company stated.

Data Security Systems provides companies with information technology audits, assessing the exposed vulnerabilities of a client's computer system, including the internal and external network, mail service, and firewalls.

Workgroup Computing Associates leverages GroupWare technology and creates a computerized office for companies through nearly all aspects of workgroup design, implementation and planning, said Eisner.

"We share Eisner's mission of helping companies grow," said Peter Fidler, co-founder of WCA. "Our goal, like Eisner's, is to help clients navigate successfully through the opportunities and challenges they face as they seek to compete more effectively, improve systems and procedures, and, most importantly, to succeed."

Eisner has more than 450 employees, including 70 partners. The firm has offices in New York and Florham Park, New Jersey.
