ELedger Teams Up With PrimeStreet TOLEDO, Ohio, Oct. 11, 2000 (SmartPros) In a push to equip small businesses with access to online credit, eLedger.com, a provider of Web-based accounting applications, has teamed up with a provider of online financial services. ELedger and PrimeStreet, which delivers financial services through primestreet.com including lines of credit, term loans, business credit cards, leases and accounts receivable financing, have joined forces to provide eLedger customers with access to small business online credit. "ELedger's rapidly expanding customer base now has easy access to competitive business financing that is tightly integrated with their overall accounting practice," said Lee Mellinger, eLedger's president and chief executive. Since its launch in May, the company has attracted nearly 300 users. The company offers its Web-based accounting application for $19.95 a month for an account that includes access for ten users plus accountant access. The features include general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and an analysis tool called Flashpoints. ELedger is among several providers of Web-based accounting applications vying for a slice of the white-hot market.
