E&Y to Launch E-Learning Services Company

NEW YORK, Oct. 4, 2000 (SmartPros) Ernst & Young plans to launch a new operating company Wednesday that provides integrated e-learning services.

The new business, known as Intellinex, will be a one-stop provider of corporate learning solutions that are faster, lower in cost, more flexible and more convenient than traditional classroom training, according to E&Y.

Intellinex, which has more than 400 employees, specializes in designing, developing, delivering and implementing customized learning systems for companies and their employees.

Intellinex has five major locations: its New York City headquarters and offices in Cambridge, Mass.; Cleveland, Ohio; Irving, Texas; and McLean, Va.

According to E&Y, several advantages to e-learning include access to individualized learning anytime, from anywhere; interactive technology-based tools; cost savings; and employees control their learning pace and career development.
