One-Write Plus release 8.0 is suited for small businesses with 25 or fewer employees, but is primarily designed for service companies with five or less employees, Peachtree said.

According to the company, the new release is designed to look and work much like the manual One-Write Accounting System and includes the appearance of checks, receipts, invoices, customer, vendor and employee cards on screen.

Additional features include summary options on general ledger reports, which allows a business to summarize its general ledger reports by period and by day; customized fields that can be tailored for vendors, customers and employees; and sick/vacation time tracking that automatically calculates and tracks accrued sick and vacation time for each employee.

One-Write Plus is available directly from Peachtree and at most computer retailers and office supply stores. The suggested retail price is $99.95; upgrade is $89.95.
