NetLedger and San Francisco-based eBenefits have reached a multi-phase agreement, enabling users to exchange data between NetLedger's online accounting application and eBenefit's VirtualHR.

"This partnership with eBenefits, coupled with ADP's EasyPayNet integration, represents another giant leap forward in our strategy to use the NetLedger accounting solution as a springboard to virtually any and all services that a small company needs to keep its operations running efficiently and with minimal effort," said Evan Goldberg, NetLedger's president and chief executive.

In the first phase of the agreement, which is now underway, both companies will offer co-branded services to their users, enabling customers to have access to a co-branded site where they can sign up for eBenefit's HR services or NetLedger's accounting application.

The second phase, to be completed by the year's end, will result in the full integration between NetLedger and eBenefit VirtualHR. This will allow an exchange of data between the two applications, according to NetLedger.
