Burlington, Mass.-based Mullen & Co. and DMJK Business Services Inc. in Kansas City, Mo., have joined RSM McGladrey, the $381 million accounting firm consolidator formed by H&R Block's 1999 acquisition of the non-attest assets of Bloomington, Minn.-based McGladrey & Pullen.

Mullen & Co., a nine-partner, 85-employee firm, has been a member of RSM's McGladrey Network of CPA firms for seven years.

DMJK Business Services was formed by H&R Block's 1998 acquisition of the non-attest assets of Donnelly Meiners Jordan Kline. The attest services of Donnelly Meiners Jordan Kline have been combined with McGladrey & Pullen.

RSM McGladrey is in the process of rolling into its practice the rest of the CPA firms Block purchased prior to its acquisition of RSM. All of the firms will be branded under the RSM moniker.

The firm is also looking to bring other McGladrey Network firms into its fold.
