Subscribers to Checkpoint, RIA's Internet-based research service, can link directly from Tax Alerts articles to RIA's editorial analysis and primary research materials.

Tax Alerts can help corporate tax professionals reduce their effective tax rate by providing an advanced warning of the impact of tax developments on their corporate returns. For tax practitioners in accounting firms, the product can help them uncover refund opportunities and generate additional consulting income, the company said. The price for Tax Alerts, which varies depending on the number of users, starts at $895 for a single user.

With GoSystem Tax RS, RIA faces competitors also turning to the Web such as CCH, with its Global fx, and Creative Solutions' Virtual Office.
