Andersen Creates New Role, Names Leaders of Global Business Consulting Practice CHICAGO, July 20, 2000 (SmartPros) Accounting and consulting giant Arthur Andersen has named Terry E. Hatchett to the newly created role of Office of the CEO. Hatchett, 53, who currently serves as Andersen's managing partner for Asia Pacific, will lead strategic and management initiatives as part of the CEO team structure with managing partner Jim Wadia. In his new role, Hatchett will work with the firm's service categories to develop businesses and to address global growth opportunities for the firm, AA said. Andersen also appointed Richard E.S. Boulton as global managing partner for the firm's business consulting practice. Both appointments are effective immediately. Boulton, 41, who has served as managing partner of strategy and planning on Andersen’s global leadership team, will be responsible for the leadership and development of the firm's business consulting practice with a focus on the firm's eBusiness solutions. He succeeds Charles H. Ketteman, who is retiring from the firm after a 30-year career, Andersen said. Andersen's business consulting practice currently has over 10,000 consultants and global revenues of $1.4 billion.
