Greatland Replaces MICR Warehouse Product With Check Launch

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., July 25, 2000 (SmartPros) Software vendor Greatland Corp. has replaced its MICR Warehouse laser check printing product with a new program, Check Launch software.

Check Launch laser prints complete checks for payroll and accounts payable purposes, supporting multiple accounts. The software prints the MICR code line, signatures, logos, and all check and stub data on blank check paper, eliminating the need for preprinted check stock, Greatland said. Checks completed with the software meet ABA and ANSI requirements for check acceptance, according to the company.

Check Launch includes new functions such as printing deposit tickets and importing personally scanned images. The program integrates with most major accounting software programs, including Quickbooks, Quicken, Peachtree, SBT, and ACCPAC, the company said.

Greatland and its subsidiary, Nelco of Greenbay, Wis., provide compliant documents and systems to accountants, small businesses, and financial institutions.
