You're Invited to Attend a FREE Webinar:
How to Create an Ethical Culture
Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 1 pm EDT
Hosted by David Gebler, President, Working Values

Organizations seeking to reduce the risk of illegal or unethical conduct need to understand why good people can be pressured to do bad things.

So why did they go wrong? Organizations have the ability to quantitatively map their culture to learn where they face the greatest people-based integrity risks. Feedback will enable the organization to prioritize interventions to solidify and sustain the culture they are seeking.

Organizations have an obligation to their shareholders and to their employees to understand the risks that currently exist which cause good people to fold under pressure, and what can be done to reduce those risks.

Key points to be discussed during the presentation:

  1. Enron had a code. We can't feel confident about our compliance programs just because we have all of the structural elements in place.
  2. National surveys, such as the National Business Ethics Survey, show that only organizations that address culture issues show positive results in terms of reduced incidents and reduced observed misconduct.
  3. Culture can be measured through surveys that map employee values into categories which will permit follow-on training and communication.
